On the 13th of May, we visited BMW Driving-Center near Incheon International Airport. It took about 30 minutes by bus from Incheon National University. MR. Torben Karasek who is the CFO of the BMW Korea welcomed us and had a presentation for us. All of us paid attention to him and he explained us when this driving center was established, which facilities are there and so on. Mr. Karasek is from Germany and he came to Korea two years ago. He has been curious of Korean culture. He wonders why Koreans only prefer gray and black color and doesn’t prefer under 5 series.
‘BMW
Driving Center’ is founded in 2014 to give people opportunity to experience BMW
automobile. On the area, various BMW cars, motorcycles and even classical BMW
cars are exhibited there. The visitors can also get in the vehicles. There are
also 6 driving tracks so we can have a chance to be in the driving cars, if we
make a reservation before we visit there. But unfortunately we cannot drive
those cars.
It opens
from 9 o’clock to 18 o’clock. There is an absolutely nice service. If someone
has a BMW automobile and about to go on road, he can get a service there. If
they leave their own car there, their car can be washed, checked, kept and so
on. But they surely pay for it.
